DIVINE MATURITY – GROWTH
THE EPISTLE TO THE COLOSSIANS
“ROOTED IN CHRIST AND UNITED IN LOVE”
Colossians 2:1-5 Paul models a heart of deep concern for believers, even those he has never met, showing us that genuine love for the body of Christ goes beyond personal familiarity. He urges the church to be “knit together in love,” emphasizing that unity and steadfastness protect us from discouragement and division, especially in a generation full of differing opinions and all sorts of persuasive messages. Paul also reminds us that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ, calling us to remain anchored in Him so we are not deceived by empty or misleading teachings. As we reflect on this passage, we are encouraged to care intentionally for others, seek unity and love wheresoever we find ourselves, root our understanding and decisions in Christ, and celebrate the steadfast faith of those around us. May we be present for one another, vigilant in truth, and steadfast in love, reflecting Christ in all we do.
