Forgiveness can be one of the hardest acts of faith, especially when the hurt was deep and the memory still stings. Ephesians 4:32 reminds us that grace is not pretending nothing happened; it is choosing not to let bitterness control what happens next. Kindness, compassion, and forgiveness can begin to heal places anger has kept open for too long.
Ask God to soften your heart without making you ignore healthy boundaries. Forgive because you also have been forgiven, and let grace free you from carrying yesterday into every new relationship. Sometimes peace begins with one brave decision: to release the offense and keep your heart close to Christ.
