Lu’s SCR single “Red Hot” / “Starting To Rise” (with ) earlier in 2025 was his start with us and he’s been making moves with recent house music releases including “BASS” on Rules Don’t Apply.

Lu linked up with Ali Khalili to make this “War” edit that reminds us that rhythm and resistance share the same ancestral pulse. They channel that message into a deep, rolling, percussive house meditation built for modern sound systems and open-minded floors.

SOUL CLAP RECORDS SUBSCRIBER EXCLUSIVE 🚨 hit the 🔗 in bio / stories to nab it - The remix discography has featured some pretty heavy hitters over the years… And then there are those projects that never made it out the door!  These are remixes Soul Clap loved to work on and had the incredible honor to officially create, bringing magic into their DJ sets but that sadly got passed on by the labels who invited them.  Well, this remix of “No Sleeep” by the all mighty Janet Jackson met the same fate. This was a hit in 2015, the OG produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Enjoy a clip of the remix 🔊 some of these throwback photos 📸 of + from that same year.
