You know, one of the greatest privileges of being an independent publisher is this: I get to choose the stories and the storytellers. No corporate committee. No formulaic trend-chasing. It’s just me, Just Jill, trusting my gut, my taste, and my heart for the craft. I handpick every author I work with, and I roll up my sleeves and dive all the way in as a developmental editor, story coach, hype woman, and sometimes therapist when the plot twists get too real.
