Guys so sorry for the radio silence over the last few weeks, we are alive and well and haven't been taken by the Mexican cartel or thrown in jail 😂! I've been taking a social media detox the last couple weeks.
After that crazy last night in Mexico, me and Evie actually flew home a few days later, which was always our plan but we couldn't talk about it as it was a surprise to some family members.
Between our two families we've had 3 new babies arrive in the space of a month, so it felt like the perfect excuse to come home for a few weeks, spend some quality time with family and friends, and enjoy some actual sunshine in the UK for once!
It's been really nice to switch off for a little bit and have a reset after everything we've packed into the last few months, but now we're getting excited because it's time to start planning the next adventure...
And yep... AMERICA IS NEXT! 🇺🇸
The rough plan is to head to the States around 17th August, buy a campervan or RV, and hit the road.
We honestly can't wait to get back to van life and have a home on wheels again. I've already got dreams of finding a cool old retro camper, so it'll be exciting to see what we can find out there!
It's still early days, so we're doing loads of research at the minute, trying to work out the best route, the places we absolutely can't miss, and where to even start. At the minute we're thinking of flying into Phoenix, as it seems like a good place to buy a camper and kick off the road trip.
