You probably know by now that I play classical guitar — but what you might not know is that it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

A couple of weeks ago, I reunited with my high school friends for a concert featuring film scores, jazz, flamenco, and classical favorites.

It was my first public classical guitar performance in nearly 10 years — and honestly, I did better than I expected!

This was my first time recording a cello!

The session was almost 5 hours long, and it took patience, focus, and great communication from all of us involved.

But it was definitely worth it. With such a talented cellist and my new microphone that captured all the details and textures, the recording is really high quality.

This week I’m choosing final takes and incorporating them in the song.

This song is already on fire and we've only finished the recording part.

Can’t wait to hear it when it’s mixed and mastered!

I've been playing guitar all my life, but bass is just something else.

When I play the bass, it's a different feeling - I would even say it allows me to express a different side of my personality.

This part I'm playing is from one of the songs on my upcoming EP which will be out in early 2025.

After months of mic shopping, I finally chose the Warm Audio WA-87 R2.

It was a tough call between this and the Austrian Audio OC18, but after reading reviews and chatting with some producer friends, the WA-87 R2 came out on top.

Inspired by the classic Neumann U87, it’s got that warm, vintage tone with a modern twist—perfect for my studio setup.

The first session with it is this Saturday, and I can’t wait to hear the results.
