Treći Trg is association and one of the best known publishers for contemporary poetry in Serbia. Our main focus is on high quality contemporary world poetry (primarily European) and on poetry of young authors from Serbia and the region. Periodically we publish the most renowned European classical poetry works and poetry anthologies. To a lesser extent, but with consistence, we publish contemporary
prose. Since 2006, we have published 97 books, 61 book of poetry and 36 books of prose, of which a total of 44 books of poetry in translation. Poetry and prose authors of our translated books come from 16 countries: Great Britain, United States, Ireland, Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, Portugal, Finland, Brazil, Angola, Hungary, France, Spain, Turkey, and Macedonia. We have published the most renowned writers and poets such as: Charles Baudelaire, Machado de Assis, Edith Södergran, Ladislav Klima, Wisława Szymborska, Tadeusz Różewicz, Ewa Lipska, Roger Caillois, Jachim Topol, Gonçalo M. From Serbian authors: Ivo Andrić, Duško Novaković, Stevan Tontić, Biserka Rajčić, Zlata Kocić, Radivoj Stanivuk, Enes Halilović, Goran Korunović. We esspecially single out the three-volume book "Alive anthology of French poetry, from 11th to the 20th century" by Kolja Mićević and two anthologies of Polish poetry by Biserka Rajčić: "My Polish 20th century" and "Dictionary of young Polish poetry." We regularly participate at the Belgrade Book Fair since 2011, and occasionally at other fairs (Book Fair in Novi Sad). Awards and recognitions:
1. "Ljubiša Rajić" Award for best first literary translation to Saša Đorđević, translator of the poetry book "Noje u gradu" by Efrosini Manda-Lazarou.
2. Special young designer recognition "Bogdan Kršić" of the 59th Belgrade Book Fair to Dragana Nikolić for graphic design for the books of selected poems by Wisława Szymborska and Tadeusz Różewicz, 2014.
3. Awards "Stevan Pešić" and "Dimitrije Mitrinović" for "Ovuda je prošao Bašo" by Duško Novaković, 2014.
4. Award "Dušan Vasilljev" for "Svakodnevni smak svijeta" by Stevan Tontić, 2013.
5. Award "Radoje Tatić" to "Lažne povesti" by Gonçalo M. Tavares translated by Tamina Šop, 2013.
6. Recognition from the Novi Sad Book Fair for the best illustrated book to Dragana Nikolic for "Zoo Otac" written by Pascale Petit and translated by Milan Dobričić, 2012.
7. Award "Dimitrije Mitrinović" for "Noć lutajućih zvezda" by Radivoj Stanivuk, 2010.
8. Award of the City of Belgrade and the Award "Đura Jakšić" for "Klupe nenagrađenih" by Duško Novaković, 2008. Since 2007, Treći Trg organizes the biggest international poetry festival in Serbia - Belgrade International Poetry and Book Festival. So far we held 8 festivals with over 100 renowned poets from Europe and other parts of the world. The festival was awarded by "Zvezde Beograda 2012" for best cultural project. Ever since it was founded in 2004 in Belgrade,Treći Trg publishes a magazine for literature named "Treći Trg". In 2006 and 2007, a special workshop project with students from secondary vocational schools in New Belgrade was realized under the name "Trgni se!
