I had a fantastic week in the quiet, peaceful village of Agioi Vavatsinias and was very well looked after by the team at Cyprus art retreat.
Tim and Francis arranged a great variety of locations for painting and planned additional flexibility around an approaching heatwave to ensure I got the absolute most from my painting holiday. Francis was brilliant at helping me learn to paint from life and I really enjoyed the food at Chloe’s kitchen. Tim, Francis and Chloe went above and beyond to welcome me into their little group and authentic village life. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting a relaxing painting holiday.

Hello everyone! Today at the Cyprus Art Retreat, we painted in the stunning Kionia Forest. Despite the extreme heat outside, stepping into the forest brought a much-needed relief with its cooler temperatures and serene atmosphere.

Surrounded by nature's beauty, inspired Franciss TheDesigner and Julie to capture the vibrant colors of this magical place. It's incredible how art can connect us with our surroundings, even in challenging weather conditions.

Kalimera! So I spent a wonderful week at Cyprus Art Retreat and what a beautiful and authentic place, people and experience it has been 🥰… Tim, Francis and Chloe are a super trio team. Hospitality, safety and comfort balancing them with enjoyment and recreation is what I gathered from this solo trip. Specially as a solo traveller to a completely new country and then to a remote village setting, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I kept an open mind. A warm welcome from the retreat team and village people immediately made me settle down. The privacy of the cottage was nice that was located in a small walking distance from the team members. We created lots of art in easy going company of Francis and Tim while cracking jokes! Then, Chole’s home cooked meals were so delicious, a must! They pride on their fresh vegetables and fruits locally produced in the village. And they should. It was delicious 😋 Car trips to various beaches, forests and local markets were great. We painted and painted more 😊 Tim has got wealth of knowledge about places and culture so it was great understanding the place. Francis, an immensely talented artist himself but a hidden gem too as he is great in learning languages, taught me some Greek language in between which was fun heehe. Thank you team, it was lovely meeting you and knowing you. I will treasure this experience forever!!
