We recently visited this cozy town outside of Prague for their Christmas markets but fell in love with the city itself.

Better late than never, our Karlovy Vary Christmas market vlog is now live!

In addition to visiting Prague at the beginning of December, we also stopped in the small spa town of Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic and were pleasantly surprised at how cozy and festive this town was!

In addition to eating sausages and tredlniks and local treats, we warmed our hands with a mug filled with thermal water and saw a geyser shoot into the air.

The famous lamplighter on Charles Bridge in Prague is definitely the most photographed person in the city. 🇨🇿

If you find yourself in Prague during the winter, be sure to head to the bridge around sunset to watch all of the gas lamps on the bridge be lit manually by this famous man.

It’s a tradition that dates back to the 1800s and it’s one of the more unique things that you will witness here.

For the food!

We recently visited the Christmas markets in Prague and there was no shortage of delicious food.

We wish we had larger stomachs!

The highlight was definitely the sausage and the biggest disappointment was the spiraled potato.

The Czech Republic is a new country unlocked for our vlog! 🎉🇨🇿

And visiting Prague for their Christmas markets was the perfect way to check this country off our list.

Although we were surprised at how crowded the entire city was, we still managed to drink glühwein, eat tasty market treats, and take in the gorgeous architecture all throughout this city.

We booked a Mediterranean cruise on one of the worst-rated cruise lines in the world.

And we had some thoughts.

MSC gets a lot of hate online but you can usually find deals on their cruses, so when we found one for a great price, we jumped on the chance even if the reviews were less than stellar.
