Stepping further into the murky depths, Amphibian Records returns with Swamp Motions II, a nine-track crawl (the type where your boots are already soaked with water and you hit sticky mud), through the hypnotic undercurrents of underground techno. Nine distinct voices, nine unique pulses—each artist delivering a slice of the Amphibian ethos: immersive, gritty, swampy, and driving.

Like shifting undercurrents in a darkened wetland full of auditory impulses, this Various Artists compilation weaves through a series of atmos, grooves, and rollers, each track a fragment of a larger, pulsating ecosystem. From the first submerged kicks to the final flickering echoes, this compilation embraces the (un)predictable motion of sound, in the by-all-so-faved mathematical sequence that can make you go forever on the dancefloor.

Featuring contributions from artists like Gannein, Enigma Trax, Tsukuyomi and other talented artists, the compilation showcases a spectrum from the variability of techno.

April 3rd, 2025 marks an exciting milestone as our first physical vinyl release. We are thrilled to announce you AMPH003, our next release - The Mission EP by Kobayashi Maru & Silhouette.

Channeling peak-era dark garage ambience and contemporary trance stomper technology in the same breath, on their debut collaboration Silhouette (AKA Vision of 1994) and Kobayashi Maru join forces on Amphibian Records for The Mission, a 4-track EP that airlifts the snarl and frayed temper of early dubstep into the psychedelic frontiers of modern dance music.

On the 17th of January, Amphibian Records will hold a live premiere of their quadrophonic setup, with a concert arrangement from 21:00 morphing into a full-on party till the morning. ⛓️
mʊdʌki will open up with her sound-art infused live set and warm up the Mayer system in the not-so-often used spacial setup. ⏹️ You’ll have a chance to hear for the first time the quadro live premiere of Oblaka’s new album, Unizone’s Ancestral Vision, DDAT (atch22 & Kobayashi Maru), and Mu’taism & A+++. Dj sets will be in the hands of Madeleine, Skalm and NUHNUHNAHNAH.

For months we have been witnessing genocide and violence against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Our community is based on values of solidarity and empathy and we cannot and won’t stay silent. Thus we are releasing under the ‘Transmission for Palestine’ project, native to our home club - Ankali. Our effort is to raise awareness of the struggle and suffering of the Palestinian people. We believe in anti-colonialism and freedom of the Global South from Western imperialism.
