Exactly two weeks ago, the legendary MALCOM hobby show was held in Malaysia and PIA was there! Once again, visitors could really enjoy a lot of successful entries and our jury had a hard time deciding.

Let me introduce you to three award winners, including the King of all Kings himself!

1. @최영인 (Young-in Choi) winning PIA for the incredibly realistic painting of the PEA Dot pattern and the overall character of the WSS soldier

2. Calvin Tan for a set of famous works grouped in one place (probably every one of them would have won a PIA too)

3. Xu Yang Wen for a trench scene with soldiers from the Eastern Front.

While we were finishing the last Scale it! issue, we got all the remaining photos and names of the authors of the entries we awarded with the PIA medal in Moson. On behalf of the entire jury, kindly accept my sincere congratulations, you are outstanding artists. I personally look forward to see your new pieces at the next competitions!

We've done it again and it's time to tell the world. Thanks to the great work of the whole team, the next issue of Scale it! magazine has just been launched. What is the subject this time? The black panzer uniform and the beginning of German armoured reconnaissance! I'm going to get my coffee and start sending out information to dealers now. The new issue is also available now on the Plastic Invasion eshop.

Pvt. Harly steadies his M1 Garand, pressing the stock firmly against his shoulder. His finger rests near the trigger, his eyes locked on a distant point - always ready, even after the brutal fight for Carentan. The bandolier across his chest is lighter now, some pouches empty after days of combat. His helmet, plain and unmarked, offers no identity, but in this moment, only one thing matters - being prepared for whatever comes next.

10th of June, 1944 near Carentan

Just days ago T/4 James Smith jumped into the darkness over Normandy - scattered, alone, searching for his unit in unfamiliar terrain. Now, near Carentan, the fight is about to begin. His pockets and pouches are packed with ammunition and grenades, his gear weighing heavy on his shoulders. Every man knows what’s coming. The battle for the town will be brutal, street by street, house by house. But James isn’t thinking about that now.
