This news took us completely off guard, and we are so happy to share that 𝐄𝐞𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐞! by Andrea Szelesová has just been awarded at Tribeca! 🔥

As the first Czech and Slovak film !EVER! selected by one and only Whoopi Goldberg for the Wonderful World of Animation programme, 𝐄𝐞𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐞! was awarded the 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. And all this at a festival where nearly 9,000 short films competed for a spot this year!🥳

𝐏𝐫𝐯𝐲́ 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐤𝐲́ 𝐤𝐫𝐚́𝐭𝐤𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐯 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞 Tribeca!

Česko-slovenský koprodukčný krátky film 𝐸𝑛, 𝑡𝑒𝑛, 𝑡𝑦́𝑘𝑦! slovenskej animátorky Andrey Szelesovej sa už o pár dní predstaví na 25. ročníku prestížneho festivalu 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 (3. – 14. jún 2026). Snímka sa zároveň zapíše do histórie ako vôbec prvý slovenský krátky film uvedený v programe tohto podujatia.

Vizuálne bohatú detskú drámu inšpirovanú minojskými freskami produkovala za českú stranu Kristina Husová (Pure Shore, Cinepoint). Režisérka Szelesová sa pod film podpísala aj ako autorka námetu, scenáristka, animátorka a koproducentka (ansze).

🗽 Newyorský festival titul uvedie v sekcii Shorts: Whoopi's Wonderful World of Animation, nad ktorou prevzala záštitu známa herečka a komička Whoopi Goldberg.

💛 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - fulfilling as always 💛

This year’s Anifilm was full of beautiful moments, new beginnings and exciting news for our projects ✨

We started the festival with an interview for TV NOVA about the exciting selection of the Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe! to Tribeca! 🎥

The film was then part of the National Competition, along with very inspiring films from our colleagues, whom we met during the Council of Animated Film Meeting. 👥

And there’s more! Our producer Kristina Husová pitched a new short film The Party by Anna Mastníková and received support from PPF through the Czech Horizons Grant.💥
