This 2026, travel your heart out! Come to Morocco with me. 🇲🇦💛 This is the Morocco I dreamed of experiencing — and the one I want to share. A 12-day small-group adventure across Moroccan landscapes: from riads and medinas to the Sahara Desert and Atlas Mountains, then north to the Atlantic coast to breathe again. We follow ancient routes once travelled by Bedouins, visit Berber villages, cook lunch with local families, and share meals where stories matter more than schedules. All guided by locals and experts.

Morocco is intense — and that’s exactly why it deserves time and a thoughtful rhythm. This journey is for travellers who want to understand the country, not rush through it. We move deliberately: from the cinematic landscapes of Ouarzazate to nights under Saharan stars, from hands-on cooking in Marrakech to quiet coastal towns where life slows down.

Food is our entry point. Walking is our pace. Conversation, curiosity, and shared experiences are the glue. This is travel with depth, learning and creating shared memories together.

That’s why I chose to host this journey with G Adventures — leaders in small-group, locally guided, ethical travel, with experienced partnerships with National Geographic.

📍 Morocco: From Sahara, Marrakech to the Coast

Wow, what a rollercoaster year, huh? 🥳 2025 reminded me that we’re just passing through time, its highs and lows, are all part of the experience. But this year also reminded me to allow the light in, and not let anyone dim your shine. ✨

This year, In the Mood for Life grew from an idea into a lived reality. I stepped fully into life as a travel agent, a documentarian, and a storyteller on the road, on the river, on the ocean — not playing at it, but doing the work, showing up, learning as I go.

I sailed the Danube twice - first for agent training, then again with my sister. Also went on my first ocean cruise, sailing the Mediterranean.

Professionally, it’s been a turning point. Personally, it’s been grounding. Life, as always, came with its ups and downs — and that’s exactly the point. This year reminded me of what actually matters: self-improvement over perfection, real connections over noise, real purpose over applause, and real people over everything else. 💛

l’ve never wanted to be a role model. Like everybody else, I have my own flaws, my own struggles, my own baggage. I’m just a guy chasing my own dreams, showing up one day at a time, facing myself and exploring the world, and trying to make the most of what’s right in front of me. If that inspires you to chase yours — imperfectly yet authentically — then that’s more than enough.

To everyone who has supported In the Mood for Life this year - by watching, sharing, travelling with me, sending messages, or simply being there - thank you. Truly. You’re the reason this journey feels meaningful, not just successful.

Here’s to curiosity.

Here’s to courage.

Here’s to choosing a life that feels honest.

May this new year fill you with intention, wonder, and movement — in whatever form that takes for you.

Remember, go where you feel most alive. ✨

With gratitude always,

Janz x

It's a wrap for German Christmas Markets series! 🎄🇩🇪 Across cities and villages, one thing becomes clear. German Christmas markets aren’t about novelty or spectacle. They’re about return. Returning to familiar places, to shared rituals, to the simple act of gathering when the world grows cold. A return to warmth and light.

They practice it. Year after year. Weather regardless. World unchanged.

Christmas markets survive because they serve a purpose. They give warmth to winter. Rhythm to darkness.

They give people a place to meet beyond the comforts of their living rooms. That simple act — gathering — becomes extraordinary. That is the real magic of German Christmas.

Not just the lights. Not just the glühwein. Not just the markets. But the fact that, for centuries, people keep showing up to celebrate a simple tradition of experiencing human joy. ✨💛

Experience German Christmas Markets with me next year, December 2026, on a hosted Christmas River Cruise on the Danube from Vienna to Nuremberg! Let's sail together on Europe's most majestic river, and visit magical Christmas Markets together! 🎄

Miltenberg on the Main is the kind of German town you don’t rush. 🇩🇪 Half-timbered houses, narrow streets, and riverfront squares where winter feels slower and more familiar.

Their Christmas market is small and unassuming, shaped by centuries of local trade rather than spectacle. You stop for a warm drink, take in the lights, and move on gently — reminded that not every Christmas moment needs to be grand to be meaningful.

Würzburg feels grand even in winter. Its Christmas market unfolds beneath baroque façades, just steps from the Würzburg Residence — a UNESCO-listed palace once home to prince-bishops and one of Europe’s great masterpieces. 🇩🇪

In December, the scale softens: music drifts through the square, lights warm the stone, and the city feels less imperial, more human. A reminder that even the most powerful places know how to slow down for the season. 🎄✨

German Christmas Markets: Day 8 🎄🇩🇪 Speyer takes you further back than any market ever could. Beneath the vast Romanesque cathedral — nearly a thousand years old — Christmas feels almost elemental.

This is not decoration layered onto history. This is tradition standing shoulder-to-shoulder with it.

The market here glows modestly beneath towering stone, reminding you that Christmas is small by design — a human response to something much larger. Speyer doesn’t overwhelm. It humbles.

German Christmas Markets: Day 7 🎄🇩🇪 Heidelberg, where romance meets revelation. This city feels truly different from the others I visited. This is a city shaped by thinkers, poets, and centuries of introspection.

Its Christmas markets unfold beneath castle ruins and along historic streets, where romance isn’t manufactured — it’s embedded. Here, Christmas feels reflective. You sense history not as weight, but as presence.

The markets don’t dominate the city; they accompany it. Heidelberg reminds you that Christmas isn’t only about joy — it’s also about contemplation. About pausing. About looking back as the year closes.

German Christmas Markets: Day 6 🎄🇩🇪 Wertheim & Miltenberg, passing towns in winter. Not every market needs to be a centrepiece. Some exist simply to mark time.

Wertheim and Miltenberg feel like pauses in the journey. Gentle stops. Small moments. A walk. A warm drink.

A sense of being carried forward. And sometimes, that is enough.

Next Christmas? Already booked. 🎄 And it’s almost sold out. That’s the reality of Christmas river cruises.

If you want an exciting, different, truly magical Christmas — not the same routine, not last-minute plans — you have to think one year ahead.

Christmas on the Danube • December 2026 • Vienna → Nuremberg

Think Imperial cities and medieval towns glowing with lights. Christmas markets you sail into, and visit without any rush. Glühwein in hand, winter air, festive atmosphere, and the European tradition doing their work. Christmas that actually feels really special, one that you'll remember for years to come.

This departure is nearly full. Only a few cabins remain.

So if next Christmas matters to you — if you want memories, not just days off — this is the moment.

🎄 30 November to December 2026
🚢 Danube River Cruise, from Vienna, Melk, Passau, Regensburg and Nuremberg
🛏️ Only last cabins available

Plan early, book now.
