AZ TU is a Berlin based film production company creating long format films for cinema as well as short format films for NGOs, artists, companies and events. It is choosing to be slow when needed, stepping aside the stream of thoughts to see what's underneath. It is allowing an idea to arise from within and to be expressed from the inside out. It is to nurture that very idea - watching it grow all

the way until its fruits are picked by the ones we are to inspire. It is the rich and organic taste of creativity from the heart that can not be replicated - it is to be felt.

We are happy to announce that our 37min film documentary „Auf Spurensuche“ (In Search of Traces) is part of the official selection and main program of the AKE DIKHEA? 6th International Festival of Romani Film and will be screened at the historical Babylon cinema in Berlin.

About the film: ⁣

„Auschwitz is our cemetery and we go there to visit and honour our deceased.“⁣
⁣
In these words Christel Schwarz describes his family’s journey which begins in Jever, northern Germany. The Schwarz family is a long-established Sinti family in the region from which large parts were deported during the N**i era.⁣
⁣
It took years to make this journey possible. A journey into a past full of painful memories and collective trauma. And, sadly, a confrontation with the ongoing challenges of the present. ⁣
