A central question question to Jewish identity is often linked to Zionism. Are you a Zionist or are you not, if you are what type of Zionism do you ascribe yourself to?

"I don't think I'm a fanatic of socialism[...]I've read Adam Smith, I even wrote a lot about Hayek. And I think that they themselves have good ideas[...]I just think that nowadays it just clearly isn't compatible with the nice ideas that we all have. If there ever was a time we could prove it wrong it's now, considering that during the pandemic when most people's lives have become worse the richest in the world have seen their riches grow by a trillion dollars."

Iky Salinas has been involved in social causes for as long as he can remember. After we recorded the episode he became and elected member of the (American) Democrats Abroad Israel and is working on getting Americans living in Israel and Palestine to become active.
