People often ask me how I learned German as a young mother in Germany.
The truth is, I didn’t do one big thing.
I read children’s books with my kids for 20 minutes every day.
I wrote down 10 new German words daily.
I read one newspaper article every day.
I watched at least 30 minutes of a German film or TV show.
I listened to German radio while driving.
And I changed my phone language to German.
None of these habits felt life-changing on their own.
But together, they helped me build the German skills that opened doors for me in Germany.
If you are already in Germany or about to relocate and you are feeling stuck and want to integrate with ease, DM me the word integrate to apply working with me.
