Release Reception & Celebration Cannabis Legalization
Works, Music, Poetry and a Flower Bouquet

We will be showcasing works by 4FSB x Goswell Road, Seth Fountain, Timothy Schaumburg, Tea Stražičić and Justin Swinburne (exhibition will be on view till 28 April due to ).

The music will be served by EuroEyez – the low-fi kpop wunderkind – and her brother and producer bfoty, formerly known as boyfriendoftheyear. They will play exclusive dj sets for you this evening. Also you should not miss the exquisite poetry performance by Samilaaa.808.

The scenery is designed in coop with Daryan Knoblauch and there will be flower bouquets by Melisa Tuerkal.

Let's talk about cannabis! Dear Portuguese speaking readers, in celebration of 4/20, our friends of Social W**d and CannaReporter invite you to “4:20 Talks.” An event on 20 April 2022 where education, socialization and job opportunities in the cannabis industry will be discussed. It will be a day full of experiences and a place open to creative and current discussion about the most talked about plant in the world.

In a light and intimate format, with spaces limited to 100 people, Conversas 4:20 is supposed to stimulate networking among guests and provide lots of information, knowledge and fun. For anyone who can't attend the event at Crew Hassan can watch the event live streaming on Social W**d’s YouTube channel.

The “Conversas 4:20” project was born from a partnership between Social W**d, an audiovisual and cultural producer focused on initiatives related to cannabis culture, and CannaReporter, an online newspaper about cannabis, founded in 2017, with the idea of to promote information and discuss current issues or trends in the cannabis market. The idea is to promote these conversations at least once a month, in order to bring together the community of activists for the legalization of cannabis in Portugal.

These slides’ only purpose is to show the sincere work of photographer Heather Glazzard. Frequent followers of our other publication TISSUE Magazine already know that we are quite fond of their work. This transgressive, London-based artist takes pictures quite honestly. Intimacy is a big deal in their work — they want to connect with their subjects on a higher level. “If we don’t vibe I can’t take their picture.” Heather would rather cancel the shooting. They are not interested in selling to a big audience. With their dark sense of humour and obviously immediate access to their inner child, they are on a mission to create pictures that aren’t typically seen. Look them up.

THE HERBALIST [SHE/HER]
Although this periodical seems to be one big ode to smoke, here’s some friendly advice for you, dear reader: stop using to***co. It is extremely addictive, detrimental to your health, and does not get you any high. You’ll end up smoking joints for the ni****ne kick. Anastazja Moser, who came to Berlin to study linguistics many years ago, has the perfect solution. Using the knowledge she gained from her background, she created a supreme to***co substitute in three different blends, for various occasions and strains. Her high quality blends are handmade from wisely selected herbs that are beneficial when inhaled. You could even brew yourself a tea from her sophisticated mixtures.

Some people may already know Anastazja as the co-founder of Berlin Community Radio and as a former DJ. For our first issue we asked the “German King of Memphis” the following: Skinny Finsta, what about the laced w**d?

This is what he answered: “The streets are filled with ruthless hustlaz. Toxic w**d is the new high — the fiends will yearn for it. Paper is gettin’ stacked sky high. U better stick with your oldschool neighbourhood dope mane if u still want that g***a g***a mane. Alles Haben Sie only smokes legit!”

Synthetic cannabinoids represent the largest group of substances currently monitored in Europe by the The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction. And ever since German Vice’s overproduced documentary about a flood of low quality cannabis flowers treated with synthetic cannabinoids everybody’s quite nervous – users and pushers alike. For many, this is another argument for the legalisation and control of the market. For rapper Skinny Finsta, it’s a shame. The owner of Alles Haben Sie Records is a connoisseur of the business, even though his is all about cassette tapes. He’s swamping the market with his own recordings and is the number one go to address for tape productions for many fellow artists. We consider Skinny as a colleague, because he’s currently working on a zine about the phenomena and aesthetics of analoge tape recordings.
