Unlock Your Innovation Potential with AI-Assisted Design Thinking.
Ever wondered what you could accomplish if you had a super-capable creative team that could brainstorm, execute ideas, and prototype these ideas by the end of day? I've been exploring this question by integrating various AI tools into the design thinking phases and working with AI as a capable team partner.

Recently, I guided a design team through an entire project ideation phase in a single afternoon. By strategically applying AI in the design thinking process, we compressed ideation cycles, generated solution alternatives, and rapidly prototyped concepts that would have previously required multiple sprints. It's not only faster, but they are also better. Critical thinking processes (using AI again) strengthen concepts by finding potential weaknesses before others do, and therefore, you are building a better product and service.

This isn't about replacing human creativity—it's about enhancing it.

AI & Creativity: A Shift in How Designers Work

Over the past few months, I’ve conducted three studies as part of my PhD, exploring how designers adopt generative AI tools for image and video creation.

The findings? A mix of exciting possibilities and significant challenges.

AI accelerates workflows, expands creative possibilities, and helps identify patterns and audiences. At the same time, it introduces unpredictability, frustrations, and shifts in creative labor. Generative AI tools are powerful, but they require a new way of thinking about creativity—one that is iterative, adaptive, and technology-enhanced.

The broader implication is clear: designers and creative professionals must embrace a hybrid skillset that blends traditional, digital expertise with AI-driven experimentation. Rather than resisting AI, the most forward-thinking creatives are learning how to collaborate with it, using it as an augmentation rather than a replacement.

Design teachers and employers rethink how creative skills are taught, shifting toward more hands-on, exploratory learning. The future of creative work is not about humans versus AI, but about how we integrate AI to unlock new possibilities. Think: Job-titles, tasks, and skill requirements may shift every three months or as long as the project lasts...

As Yuval Harari puts it:

"Old jobs will disappear, new jobs will emerge, but the new jobs too will rapidly change and vanish. So people will need to retrain and reinvent themselves not just once but many times, or they will become irrelevant.”

✨ From the Past into the Future: My First AI Art Exhibits ✨
This week marks a personal and exciting milestone: my first art showcase, where old-world craftsmanship meets cutting-edge AI technology. This collection interweaves AI-generated imagery with intricate hand-modified details—crocheted, stitched, and needled—bridging centuries of tradition and innovation.
I think of my grandmother crocheting small, delicate white table settings with tiny needles. The artistry of her time is rooted in patience and care and serves here as a juxtaposition to the lightning-fast creativity of AI.

This exhibit is a dialogue between eras: the tactile and the digital, the human touch and the machine's precision. It’s a reflection on how far we’ve come and a question of where we’re headed.

I invite you to join me on this journey—exploring how tradition and technology can coexist, complement, and even enhance each other in unexpected ways.
