If you are into minimal music, you are definitely going to like Dominy Clements' 'Bamboo Split', the first single from his upcoming release 'Desires and Adorations'. Written for Dutch Fluteoctet BlowUp, Dominy explains: "My old teacher, Louis Andriessen, was always persuading me to get the most out of any scrap of music, turning it every which way to wring out every possibility and to discover new things. plucking an idea from somewhere and, like Paul Klee, taking that line for a walk to see where it will lead."

Did you know that Galileo Galilei had a younger brother who was a prolific composer for the Renaissance lute? Israel Golani released a small collection of Michelangelo Galilei's works on his digital album Echo Ex Iove.
