🇩🇪 What German Consumers Really Want in 2025

Consumers in Germany are not saving this year, but they have not stopped spending. They’re just making smarter choices. Here’s what businesses need to know:

- Less impulse, more intention.
People are switching to affordable brands, cutting back on non-essentials, and watching prices closely.

- Sustainability matters, but not at any price.
Shoppers still care about the environment, but fewer are willing to pay extra for “green” products.

- Online and offline are both strong.
Gen Z loves online shopping. But most Germans still prefer buying groceries and basics in-store. People want flexibility, sometimes it’s click-and-deliver, sometimes it’s picking it up on the way home.

- Discovery happens everywhere.
TikTok, Instagram, Google - this is where people find products now.

So what should brands focus on? Read our article to find out.

The most important consumer behavior trends in Germany for 2025? Yes, here they are. Gain insights and adapt your strategies!
