New release! I made this one together with my friend Annik.

Here's how we describe it:
A fierce collaboration between producer Marvis and debut vocalist Annik, “Stop (to f**k my mind)” fuses heavy electronic rhythms with raw, metal-inspired harsh vocals.
Lyrically, the track explores the rage of a woman in the context of a toxic relationship. On a deeper level, it’s also challenging the societal and authoritarian structures that suppress female anger and invalidate emotional truth.

The cover art, painted with Annik’s own menstrual blood, underlines the unfiltered intensity and radical vulnerability of the work.

Fans of The Prodigy, Tzusing, Kittie, Jinjer or Witch Club Satan will find a home in its brutal beats and uncompromising energy.

I spent this weekend at MetalCon.music in Frankfurt. It was an event for people who produce heavy music and was held for the first time. My production experience comes mainly from an electronic music background so I was curious to get deeper into the metal side of production.

I did indeed learn a lot and I’m very happy I went. I learned how to make guitars sound heavier, programming drums in a completely different way, making vocals shine and also got tons of stories and anecdotes from people who made some of the great albums in metal history.

Connecting with other producers who were there was also quite enlightening. It was great to see that there’s a community of people who ask themselves very similar questions to what I’m asking myself while making music. While my style was a bit unusual in this context, I still had lots of good conversations.

Of course I enjoyed some sessions more than others but overall, it was very inspiring. Kudos to the mentors, artists and organisers!

Wir sprachen über seine Einflüsse, seine Sicht auf die dunkle Elektronik, wie sich technisches Denken auf Musikproduktion auswirkt und natürlich noch über vieles mehr. Ich durfte einen Mix beisteuern für die "Fasnachtsfreie Zone" (FFZ), bei Radio X. Der Mix lief ursprünglich um 6 Uhr morgens am Tag des "Morgestraich", wenn ohnehin die halbe Stadt auf den Beinen ist.

Ich habe einen dunklen und tanzbaren Mix aus Dark Disco, Indie Dance und Tech House zusammengestellt. Mit Musik von Dina Summer, Curses, Arnaud Rebotini, Karassimeon uvm.

Während der gesamten Fasnacht sendete Radio X aus der Fasnachtsfreien Zone im Dreispitz 72 Stunden DJ Sets vom Morgenstraich bis zum Endstraich. Jeweils von 16.00 Uhr bis Mitternacht waren unsere Türen geöffnet und es wurde live aus dem Studio gesendet. Alle Live Sets wurden auch über den Videos...

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been venturing into a sound that takes inspiration from the raw energy of metal and takes that to the dancefloor. It really started with my single „Dark Silence“ which came out last fall and continued with the unique electronic black metal collaboration we released as Incandescent Trance Ritual earlier this year.

By working on these, I feel I’ve grown as an artist and producer by learning how to bring these very different styles together. I felt it was now time to put my DJ hat on again and show that these tracks also work in a mix.

So here's my latest signature mix which I call "Screaming Catharsis on the Dancefloor"

This mix is a sonic exploration of the deeper and rougher realms of dance music, blending the raw energy of dark electro, the pulsating beats of EBM, and gritty industrial sounds.
