Dear friends and acquaintances in Myanmar,
We would like to let you know that we are on your side.
Every day you are in our thoughts and we pray to God and Buddha that you will be successful in your struggle for democracy and human rights, for your future and that of your children.
We are excited about your colorful and peaceful protest. It is great to see that all parts of society stand together and take to the streets against oppression, arbitrariness and military dictatorship. Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, ethnic minorities, women, children, men, rich and poor. You are all Myanmar. You all belong together and you will all survive this difficult times together.
It is your chance. Not just your chance of life but a chance of historical importance to change your country for generations to the better. And not only to restore democracy, but to found a democracy that is a country for all people living in Myanmar without the influence of the military.
Keep this unity for the future. This will give you the strength to be successful and lead Myanmar into a prosperous future.
