happy bridgerton season !! 🎀🕯️✨ when the brief asks for rococo nails with “as many intricate and elaborate decorations as possible“, “extravagant“, “over the top“ and “maximalism“, this is what you get 🫡

these might be the most time intensive nails i’ve ever done — planning all the colors and details and layers alone took multiple days of you can believe it (partly because i also experimented with a locket, cameo, spinning and even a snow globe effect that i all ultimately scrapped).

they look delicate, but i actually wore them for 2-3 days or so and the flowers held up incredibly well! I think I lost one or two pearls and one flower petal broke off at the tip, but considering the amount of stuff on these nails, i was pleasantly surprised!

notes: for all of these designs i used two layers of the base color, cured, then a layer of blooming gel, add red dots, let them bloom, then cure. then i added a fresh layer of blooming gel and added the orange dots, let them bloom, then cure. i also added a layer of blooming gel before the white stripes for the shells, so that they would spread out nicely! before adding the 3D gel i always put the top coat on first. let me know if you have any questions on how to recreate this look 🩷
