DJ Stean has been spinning vinyl exclusively since 1998, blending hip-hop roots with jazz, soul, and funk into eclectic sets that go far beyond the mainstream. His versatility makes him equally at home in listening bars, clubs, and on major festival stages. Career highlights include performing at Splash Festival 2009 with KAAS (Die Orsons), contributing to two tracks on “3,14”, the 2021 debut albu

m of Bonn-based rapper Die P, and touring internationally with Karlsruhe rapper Haze – culminating in a show for more than 9,000 people on the main stage of the Hook Up Festival 2023 in their hometown of Karlsruhe.

There are evenings when the needle approaches the last groove and I just can’t decide which record to play next. Then I feel like I spend the whole time chasing after my set.

Then there are evenings like last Saturday at when you take the first record out of its sleeve and all the others fall into place by themselves.

I’m excited to see what kind of evening awaits me this Saturday at in . In keeping with I’ll be bringing a few records by my favorite producers.
