Eigentlich ging alles mit einem Wochenendausflug nach Kassel los. Im Frühjahr 2000 traf Michael Hartke (RadioMicha) die Entscheidung, sich in Kassel niederzulassen. Er verstand sich zu dieser Zeit sehr gut mit einem Kollegen namens Alex Hoppensack, woraus sich später eine gute Freundschaft entwickelte. Er nahm ihn mit zum Radio - Freies Radio Kassel (FRK), wo er Peter Kussike ke
nnenlernte, der zu dieser Zeit die Sendung Supaloud moderierte.
⭐ Minimalcityradio – Electronic Beats aus Kassel seit 2007 ⭐
Was als spontaner Wochenendtrip nach Kassel begann, wurde der Startschuss für eine elektronische Radioreise, die bis heute anhält. Als Michael Hartke (RadioMicha) im Frühjahr 2000 in Kassel heimisch wurde, kreuzte er den Weg von Alex Hoppensack – eine Begegnung, aus der nicht nur Freundschaft entstand, sondern auch die ersten Schritte ins Radiouniversum.
Über das Freie Radio Kassel (FRK) lernte Michael Peter Kussike kennen, der damals die Sendung Supaloud moderierte. Die gemeinsame Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik ließ die beiden schnell zu einem eingespielten Team werden – und Michael entdeckte sein Talent und seine Begeisterung als Radiomacher. Schließlich übergab Peter ihm das Projekt Supaloud – ein Moment, der alles veränderte.
🎧 Aus Supaloud wird Minimalcityradio
2007 bekam das Format ein neues Gesicht und einen neuen Namen: Minimalcityradio war geboren.�Seit 2010 steht Matthias Handy (DJ Nokia) mit an den Decks, und gemeinsam öffneten sie ihr Studio für zahlreiche namhafte Künstler der Szene:�Pierre, Marky, Bine, Norman & Fisch (Stammheim Kassel), Karotte, Alex Bau, Ziel100, Mahatma, Torsten Kanzler, Marco Remus, Mark Hawkins, Bill Youngmann, Monika Kruse, Louis Osbourne, Tim Xaiver, Marco Bailey, Good Groove, Yapacc, Frankson u.v.m.

Their shared passion for electronic music quickly turned them into a strong team – and Michael discovered his own talent and enthusiasm as a radio host. Eventually, Peter passed the Supaloud project on to him – a moment that changed everything.

In 2007, the format took on a new identity and a new name: Minimalcityradio was born.
