Seit über einem Jahr gab es hier nichts Neues von mir - das lag auch mit daran, dass von mir viel Zeit für dieses Herzensprojekt aufgewendet wurde.

ROAD TO PATAGONMAN ist das Ergebnis von knapp einem Jahr Arbeit, in dem ich Marcel Hopp, einen Triathleten und guten Freund aus Stuttgart bei seinen Vorbereitungen und der Teilnahme am Patagonman XTRI 2019 in Chile begleitet habe. Das Ergebnis ist ein 36-minütiger Dokumentarfilm, über das Training, die Hintergründe, die Reise und das Rennen selbst.

On December 02, 2017 I officially opened doors to my very own photostudio. It's a little over a year later now and the photostudio has become much more than that! 📸

Things started rolling, slowly at first but surely more and more clients came in and I'm really grateful for that! I struggled with finding a more specialized field in photography and shot everything I got asked to, let it be portraits, architecture, events, weddings just anything actually.

Due to my digital marketing related studies I more and more found the passion for social media driven content and started to specialize in producing native visual content for these platforms. To get true insights into digital marketing and content creation I started a youtube channel last year, uploaded more or less regularly and, also started to build an audience on instagram. If you've followed all of this you saw me experimenting a lot with these platforms and that's mainly because I have decided to develop my business into a social media centered online agency with in-house production capacity. Actually this sounds a little too fancy as it's just me myself and I that I'm talking about for now, but well that's what it is😊 I'm also very happy that I'm working with as well some of my photography clients as well as new partners on social media related projects and I'm really looking forward to kickstart this whole aspect of my business more in the next weeks and months!

Anyway I really wanted to share this story with you as I very often get asked "How's that photo thing going?" - well now you know. It's going great but it has become more than just a photo thing. And I'm stoked to see what 2019 has in stock for you, me and everyone out there! Have a good one ✌🏼

For me this new year means more content again. If you've been following my work last year you are very well aware that I posted mostly landscape and travel related imagery, documenting my experiences in all the beautiful places I've been to. This is going to change in 2019, so if you're here for the travel content only I'm sorry to disappoint you, but please give me the chance to bring value to you this year with a different kind of content that I'm planning to produce and share.
