Lion costs leading AI company half a million after risky experiment. In Africa, researchers pushed the limits of AI by sending their prototype robot face to in face with a lion.

Before the trial, the machine had been prepped with hundreds of animal images and books on emotions. It could identify joy, sadness, anger, and fear. On paper, it was flawless. But the moment the lion appeared, the system broke down. The logs showed only:
“Cat big. Scared.”

Then it glitched, repeating “scared” more than 100 times until it froze completely. Memory wipes didn’t help. The fear was buried so deep that every time the robot saw a four legged creature, from a goat to a house cat, it responded the same way: “No. Scared.”

Engineers eventually had to tear out part of its CPU, a fix that cost the company half a million dollars and nearly eight months of work. The experiment ended with the first robot in history diagnosed with PTSD.

Rwandan gospel singer Gloriose Musabyimana, popularly known as Gogo for her viral sound “Every day I need the blood of Jesus,” has died at the age of 36 in Uganda.

She passed away on the night of September 3 after a short illness.

Kenya: a 48 years old woman a ‎Residents of Got Rateng village in Mbita has died while undergoing horizontal engineering with 23 year boyfriend. Villagers were left in shock after the woman reportedly collapsed and died while with her lover on Friday morning. Investigation have commenced. Thank you very important.

The most undisciplined boda boda operators in East Africa are definitely in Uganda. I don’t know if bikes are cheaper there, but it feels like every Ugandan owns five of them. Kampala is literally crawling with bodas—like termites after rain.

One overtakes you on the right, and before you even recover, ten more have already passed you on the left, some from blind spots you didn’t even know existed. Driving in Kampala honestly feels like playing a live video game—except here, there’s no respawn after a crash. 🎮😂

Traffic rules? They don’t exist in boda land. Even goats in Kampala seem to respect the road more than boda riders. 🐐🚦

And accidents? They’re so normal that when two boda riders crash, they just pick up their bikes, laugh about it, and ride off like nothing happened. Meanwhile in Nairobi, your insurance guy would still be keeping you on hold. 📞😅

If you ever plan to drive in Kampala, forget GPS. What you really need is courage, nine lives, and maybe even a helmet—even if you’re inside a car.

This is the latest victim. She got married to a STRONG man. Not WEAK men like me who walk away from arguments. A STRONG MAN who can lead, and a REAL MAN who provides direction when things go wrong.

When they disagreed, the STRONG MAN changed the color of her eyes with slaps 😭😭. A WEAK man with high emotional intelligence like me would have walked away and told her to work on her emotions. But the STRONG MAN she chose could not stand her rants and became a REAL MAN.

South Dudan: SAD NEWS - A man dies during a Dinka traditional fattening competition

Tragedy struck this evening at Majook Tong Cattle Camp, Kuac Ayok Community, as Bak Wol Mangok lost his life during a traditional Dinka fattening competition.

He reportedly died instantly after drinking an excessive amount of milk, a central part of the cultural contest where men showcase endurance and strength by consuming large quantities.

In Jieeng tradition, the one who dies in such a competition is regarded as the Champion and honored for eight years, unless another contestant surpasses him through the same fate.

This incident highlights the depth and uniqueness of Jieeng heritage, a tradition that continues to define identity, pride, and resilience.
