Kenny Wayne Shepherd (June 12, 1977) is an American blues rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, and one of the most respected guitarists of his generation.
Known for his passionate playing, powerful tone, and deep connection to the blues, Shepherd became a major figure in the blues revival of the 1990s while bringing the genre to a new generation of fans.
He gained worldwide recognition with his debut album Ledbetter Heights (1995), featuring hits such as โDeja Voodooโ and โBorn with a Broken Heart,โ and continued his success with albums including Trouble Isโฆ, Goinโ Home, and The Traveler.
Throughout his career, Kenny Wayne Shepherd has collaborated with legendary musicians and continues to honor the tradition of blues while adding his own modern rock influence. He remains one of the leading guitar voices in contemporary blues rock.
