Here’s how I applied for my Ausbildung 🇩🇪✨
Step 1: Learn German 🇩🇪
I started learning German until B2 level, took an exam and passed it. I worked on improving my language skills because German is important for both the application process and everyday life in Germany.
Step 2: Decide what Ausbildung I wanted 🎓
I researched different Ausbildung programs and chose a field that matched my interests and career goals. Ex. Nurse, Dental Assistant, Hotelmanagament.. etc
Step 3: Prepare my documents 📄
I prepared my CV (Lebenslauf), B2 German language certificate, recognized school documents, and a motivational letter.
Step 4: Search for Ausbildung positions 🔎
I searched for companies offering Ausbildung positions and looked at their requirements, location, starting date, and application deadlines.
Step 5: Apply to different companies 📩
I didn’t just apply to one company. I sent applications to several places to increase my chances of getting an interview.
Step 6: Prepare for interviews 🗣️
Once I started getting invitations, I prepared for the interviews and practiced answering common questions in German.
Step 7: Get accepted! 🥹🎉
After applying, waiting, interviewing, and not giving up, I finally received an offer for my Ausbildung.
Step 8: Apply for an Ausbildung Visa 📄
Gather all relevant documents such as Ausbildung contract, B1/B2 Certificate, Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis, Proof of accomodation, and Public Health Insurance.
Step 9: Start the journey 🇩🇪❤️
I started my Ausbildung, worked hard, learned so much, and eventually finished and passed all my exams.
And honestly, looking back now, I’m so grateful I took that first step. 🥹
If you’re thinking about applying for an Ausbildung, take the risk. Do your research, keep applying, and don’t give up just because you get rejected. Your opportunity could be right around the corner. 🤍
