An diesem Wochenende waren wir beim 18. SVM Festival in Slowenien. Wie in den letzten Jahren fand das Festival im Park of Military History in Pivka statt. Auch in diesem Jahr reisten die Teilnehmer des Wettbewerbs aus vielen Ländern an. Insgesamt wurden über 400 fantastische Modelle im Wettbewerb präsentiert. Zusammen mit dem Modellbauclub "Die Steirer" hatten wir zudem wieder die Möglichkeit Modelle abseits des Wettbewerbs zu präsentieren. Wir hatten wieder ein gelungenes Wochenende mit Freunden, netten Gesprächen, Panzersound und einer super Atmosphäre.
Obendrein konnte ich mit meinem T-55 den dritten Platz in der Kategorie Slowenien belegen, sowie den Sonderpreis des Gruppo Modellistico Patavino in dieser Katogorie bekommen.
Vielen Dank an alle beteiligten des SVM und des Park für die großartige Veranstaltung.
Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall bereits auf eine Fortsetzung und werden wiederkommen.

PS: Das Museum ist immer einen Besuch wert. Man bekommt einen sehr guten Einblick in die militärische Geschichte dieses schönen Landes. Und wer schon mal dort ist sollte unbedingt das Eis bei Toniš am Museumsparkplatz probieren. Das war unglaublich gut.😋

This weekend we attended the 18th SVM Festival in Slovenia. As in previous years, the festival took place at the Park of Military History in Pivka. Once again this year, competitors travelled from many different countries. In total, over 400 fantastic models were entered in the competition. Together with the Modellbauclub „Die Steirer“, we also had the opportunity to showcase models outside the competition. We had another successful weekend with friends, pleasant conversations, the sound of tanks and a great atmosphere.
On top of that, I managed to take third place in the Slovenia category with my T-55, as well as winning the Gruppo Modellistico Patavino special prize in this category.
Many thanks to everyone involved at the SVM and the Park vojaške zgodovine Pivka/Park of military history Pivka for the fantastic event.
We’re definitely already looking forward to the next one and will be back.

PS: The museum is always worth a visit. You get a really good insight into the military history of this beautiful country. And if you’re ever there, you absolutely must try the ice cream at Toniš - Eko kmetija Penko by the museum car park. It was incredibly good.😋

Letzte Woche habe ich eine Lieferung von Panzerkeks Modellbau bekommen.
Rohrschützer und Staubschutz-/ Tauchkappe Für Leopard 2 und Sterne für den Mercedes von Neverland.
Die Schutzkappe habe ich direkt am im Bau befindlichen 2A7 Von Meng verbaut und den Rohrschützer auch gleich mal lackiert. Die Teile sind echt super und ein nettes Gimmick.👍🏻

Last week, I received a delivery from Panzerkeks Modellbau.
Tubular guards and dust covers/dip caps for Leopard 2 and stars for the Mercedes from Neverland.
I installed the protective cap directly on the 2A7 Von Meng, which is currently under construction, and also painted the pipe protector. The parts are really great and a nice gimmick.👍🏻

The new year begins as the old year ended.
The Leopard 2A7 has been painted. Next comes the painting of the details.

The Trabant from AK was built quickly and is already ready for painting. The fit is excellent.
