Submission is not about fear—it is about trust.
People often say that a wife should submit to her husband. Yes, but the husband should also be the kind of man his wife feels safe submitting to.
A woman cannot genuinely trust the leadership of someone who constantly hurts, humiliates, threatens, or ignores her. True submission grows naturally in an environment of love, respect, kindness, and security.
A good husband doesn't demand respect by force. He earns it through his character. He listens, protects, provides emotional support, keeps his word, and treats his wife with dignity.
Likewise, a wife who feels loved, valued, and secure will find it much easier to support, respect, and stand by her husband.
Marriage is not a competition. It is a partnership where both husband and wife have responsibilities. When love, respect, trust, and safety exist together, the home becomes a place of peace.
A strong marriage is built when both husband and wife help each other become their best selves.
