Well, my daytime work is consuming, but my little helper is making my day with the MOCs!

This time it is a quadcopter drone.

Yesterday at the holiday the little helper and I, together we started with an old classic.

Well, started, as mom called to help (House Chores) and I alone kept on.

Then it was me and a video upload from .digital.basement

Yaay!!

PS: got an order. Sticker weren't that good anymore...

Childhood has knocked on the door... Or eBay.
Always wanted to have the Med-Star Rescue Plane.

Remember this Australian TV show "The Flying Doctors"?
When I saw this 1989 in the catalogue, I thought about this show, which showed for TV the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS).

And as always, the set was too small for Christmas, too big for Easter and my birthday is too close to Christmas so... Never got it.

It always came up when I was doing something with my airport and... Well, stay tuned because there will be something with airport in the near future.

Went today to Regensburg and wasn't expecting to find a brick ramp at .the.popup

Had a coffee and the little helper an insanely good chocolate caramel cake. Not too sweet, exactly what was expected.

Will go there again!

Today no brick content!

Today 🐕 🐶 🐾🐕‍🦺 dog content!

Allow me to present the geriatric triad, although Nina (the grey) probably is 5-7. We don't know, as she was found last year injured in Southeast Romania near Constanța.

She's a smaller mix (?!) of a romanian carpathian sheepherd dog (Ciobănesc Românesc Carpatin or Carpatin).
Really, extremely calm and brave as well, protecting our house and garden - but without being aggressive or angry.
She reminds me of a tiny Spanish mastiff (Mastín Español) without slobber - with 28 kgs (62 lbs in freedom units) it is tiny.

As mentioned, she was found last summer severely injured (assuming she was hit by car) with open wounds in a town called Vlahii.
found her, saved her, kept her in a shelter, brought her in spring with helpers to Germany and then we found her.

Tomorrow is her great day, as her tail will be removed/amputated. Poor Nina isn't able to wag her tail, due to her injuries last summer.

But it doesn't matter, as she's able to wiggle her back and showing otherwise her (regained) happiness.

Our other two pups, already elderly doggies. Also both from shelters as well, but with us since 2013 and 2016.
The light beige is our male, his name is Moco. He's almost 12 years, but still fit as a youngster. The cinnamon colored is our female with 9 years and has the name Agi (from Agatha, yes, because of Agatha Christie).
Both are pekingese mixes and the three day by day are getting better along.

Enough dog talk, hope you don't mind the OT to my usual content.

Time to "repair" a purchase recently made. This set was always on my wishlist, but circumstances didn't allow it to be mine.

Well, now it is.

Some parts are missing (Transclear head, file cabinet yellow in the first floor, antenna) or wrong (tree, Minifigs).

Price but was ok and purchases like these are always an excuse to get me more from

Trivia:

As 1991 was the last year with red cross themed sets, Lego moved 1992 to the star of life.
I assume to sell better in red crescent countries and also possibly because the Red Cross Organization surely wanted to get some loyalty fees as well.

I always liked the red cross more.

G'day people of the Internet,

the older folks amongst us will probably recognize this.
It is a test display for shops/stores to show the compatibility between Duplo and Lego (or nowadays any other 8mm spec brick).

Last time I saw it...1989?
I was very happy to see it again and still in the intended function in a shop at the toy aisle.

Hope they will keep it as long as it is already there.
Probably will, as the store is family owned.

Found it at Kaufhaus Hans Körndl in Altmannstein, Bavaria.
