Melody Nelson Nowadays, Melody Nelson can be caught spinning at the Hamburg's Mojo Club as well as various clubs and festivals across Europe.

The world changed for Hamburg-based DJ Melody Nelson in 1991 when on a pub crawl stumpling into Glasgow’s Volcano Club (later of Trainspotting fame): a dancefloor crowd going berserk to Jazz – shocking! ... Big shout out to the man in charge back then: Nick Peacock www.facebook.com/nick.peacock.944 ! Back home with bags full of records and copies of Straight No Chaser magazine, the first regular Jazz-tinged club session got started, eventually leading to a residency at the Washington Bar – a stone’s throw from Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. He is also host/organizer of the Fabjazz Sessions Weekender that takes place every June in Hamburg. You can listen to his mixes on mix cloud (www.mixcloud.com/LeMiamMiam_HH) and on www.radio.d59b.com every second Thursday of the month. His 100% vinyl DJ sets embrace a plethora of styles: Jazz, Latin, Brasil, Soul, Funk, Boogaloo, Fusion, Samba, Afro, Batucada, Reggae, Swing, Bossa Nova, Boogie, Disco - setting pulses racing, feet moving and faces smiling.
