For the second time, the Concours of Elegance is taking place at Lake Tegernsee, with A. Lange & Söhne continuing as the main sponsor of the exclusive classic car event. In celebration of the occasion, the Glashütte-based manufacturer has unveiled the new Zeitwerk Date, for the first time in red gold. We spoke to their CEO Wilhelm Schmid about the new release and the significance of fine classic car events for A. Lange & Söhne. Schmid is well placed to comment, having led the brand for 15 years now, while his passion for classic cars began much earlier. With the new Zeitwerk Date in 18k red gold, continues the legacy of its most conceptually radical timepiece. The unmistakable digital time display, powered by a fully mechanical movement, is now paired with a grey solid silver dial and a refined date indication circling the display like a quiet satellite. Inside, the hand-wound calibre L043.8 delivers 72 hours of constant power thanks to a patented remontoir and a dual-barrel architecture. The result is not only a feat of energy management, but also a lesson in horological discipline.

and have jointly opened their newest boutique in the heart of Stuttgart. In addition to Kim-Eva Wempe herself, Panerai’s CCO Guillermo Del Nogal joined the official ribbon cutting in the capital of Baden-Württemberg. The iconic Italian watch brand‘s latest venue reflects the Panerai-typical balance between functional technicality and exquisite choice of materials. A gray stone floor marks the main sales area, while darker marble adds depth to the bar area. Of course, a portafilter machine for Italian flair and delicious espresso is a must. The boutique, run by Marvin Klaedtke and his team, also features numerous Panerai classics and complications, such as the exclusive Luminor Tourbillon GMT PAM1060, which particularly impressed us. For all those interested in a deep dive into the world of Panerai, the new boutique at Sporerstraße 16 in Stuttgart is open every day except Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm. Highly recommended!

Together with Jaeger-LeCoultre, we had the privilege of co-hosting an exclusive master class as part of their current Adventure Spirit exhibition in Munich. Our guests were not only given an introduction to the world of the Grande Maison’s military and sports watches, but were also invited to try their hand at working on the manufacture’s very own Caliber 770 under the guidance of a master watchmaker. An eye-opening and challenging process that further strengthens the understanding of the mechanical marvels and the savoir-faire behind them. For those who have not yet immersed themselves in the world of Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Adventure Spirit exhibition can be experienced at their Munich boutique until July 26.

Together with Seiko, we celebrated our second Collector’s Event in Hamburg to mark the 60th anniversary of the Japanese cult manufacturer’s first diver’s watch. In addition to the exclusive presentation of new products from the Prospex collection, the new King Seiko models in particular attracted the attention and enthusiasm of our collectors. Together with Seiko, we hosted a major collector’s event in the heart of Berlin to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the legendary Seiko Prospex Diver. Alongside discovering and trying on new timepieces , the main highlight was the exchange with Seiko designer Natsuhiko Takahahsi, who came all the way from Tokyo. Not only did he explain the most important details of the watch design process , he also lent a hand and made a live-drwaing of a Prospex model designed by him. What an evening!
