Entitled The Ongoing Now, the 8th edition of the Seanaps Festival for experimental music, art and culture takes place in Leipzig from September 19 to 22, 2024. With a temporary radio station, Seanaps Radio accompanies the festival events, talks to artists and broadcasts live performances, radio plays and concerts. The radio aires from Friday to Sunday 12 - 5 pm on the stream of Sphere Radio & on Cashmere Radio, Radio Blau, Radio Corax, and Radio T.

Re-listen: Everything Illegal - Live Radio Performance by Hardi Kurda, with Nina Guo

Auch für die letzte Performance im Rahmen seiner Residenz bei Radio Corax sammelte Hardi Kurda individuelle Erzählungen über illegales Handeln. Auf Grundlage der Gespräche mit der Cellistin Khabat Abas, mit dem Performance-Künstler Sherko Abbas und mit einem anonymen Grenzgänger sowie auf Grundlage seiner eigenen Erfahrungen schrieb der Komponist eine Partitur für Stimme und Radiola Springs, eine mit Radio-Apparaten und Sprungfedern präparierte Bratsche, die Kurda selbst spielt. Den vokalen Part übernahm die Sopranistin und Voice-Performerin Nina Guo. Zur Interpretation der Partitur trafen sich die Performerinnen on air für eine “telepathische” Live-Performance.
