Hello there,
The time has finally come: we’re ready to launch the pre-order campaign for FREAKLINERS’ debut album, *Burning Desks*. It’s an album we’re really, really proud of – this time via the Bandcamp platform.
FREAKLINERS is the follow-up project to the Danish hardcore punk band L.U.L.L. (Leben Und Leben Lassen), and “Burning Desks” is the album that Lars and I have wanted to write for at least two decades. We couldn’t have done it without the immense musical talent and creative contribution of Jonny Paw (bass, ex-Sliced Pimples) and Francis (drums, ex-Kinky Boot Beast). Last but not least, a huge thank you goes to Adam Schwarz, who acted both as studio engineer and – together with Lars – as co-producer.
The vinyl version contains eight new songs, written by Lars and Kent, along with two cover versions. ONLY the CD and Bandcamp download versions contains an extra bonus track (‘Favorite season’), which we couldn’t fit on the LP version due to its length.
We came up with a bunch of fun perks in return for your support. From a simple download version, limited edition t-shirts, handwritten lyric sheets, CDs, different bundles and of course the vinyl version. All pre-orders will start shipping during the last week of October. EXCEPT orders containing vinyl, those might take an extra 30 days to get ready. Those of you familiar with the vinyl market will be aware of the extreme manufacturing schedules currently existing in that section. But the LPs should arrive with you well before Christmas, and we will of course keep you posted with updates via Bandcamp and our social media along the way. For ordering please use the Bandcamp l*nk in the comments section below.
If you don’t have/want an account with Bandcamp, you should still be able to place your preorder, if you encounter any problems, just contact me via the usual channels and we’ll work something out. By preordering you support us immensely in getting ‘Burning Desks’ off to a great start.
And finally, we know times are hard and maybe you aren’t able to support our album project financially. In that case there are other ways to help. Tell your friends about the project via your social media sites. Again, please use the Bandcamp l*nk in the comments for this purpose as well.
Let’s do this – see you!

Hallo zusammen,
Kent
