die Filme müssen in der Region produziert worden sein

The Kurzfilmrolle is one of the highlights

„Berlin’s most beautiful open-air cinema”, says „Tip“! Award competition

1st Prize - 1000€
2nd Prize - 500€

The films

We aim to put together a great program of the latest short films
from Berlin and Brandenburg. Narratives, animations and documentaries are welcome. The films only need to be produced in the region
of Berlin / Brandenburg or the filmmaker must come from here!

Thank you to our audience last night, it was really special to be able to view these 6 very different short films with you all, and congratulations to the Maksim Avdeev for winning 1st place for the film DENKMAL (Monument) and to Emma Bading for winning 2nd place for the film SHUT UP AND SUFFER.

Summer is coming and so is the program for this years Berliner Kurzfilmrolle! We are very happy to announce the films participating in this years program!

3. Seestraße by Jannik Mioducki & Maj-Britt Klenke
4. Himmel wie Seide. Voller Orangen by Betina Kuntzsch
5. Denkmal (Monument) by Maksim Avdeev
6. Dull Spots of Greenish Colours by Sasha Svirsky

Traditionally, we will be re-screening the winning film from last year, which was the hilarious - Carottica from Daniel Sterlin-Altman.

Thank you to all of the filmmakers and the lovely audience for another wonderful evening of Berliner Short Films at this years Berliner Kurzfilmrolle!

Receiving the Audience Award was Carottica by Daniel Sterlin-Altman and coming in second place was Das ist keine Figur, das ist Verrat by Romina Küper!
