A new address for African and West Asian design has opened in Paris.
Launching in Le Marais, is more than a concept store. Founded by Egyptian duo Mariam El Gendy and Youssef El Sayed, the space brings together fashion, beauty, jewellery, accessories and homeware from across Africa and West Asia, while building a wider cultural programme around film, literature, music, archives and community.
With its first chapter in Paris, Jihan reimagines retail as a place for dialogue, memory and contemporary craftsmanship, spotlighting creative ecosystems too often framed through trend rather than depth.

The last World Cup changed the conversation around Arab football. When Morocco reached the semi-finals in Qatar, becoming the first Arab and African nation to do so, millions of fans across the region experienced something they had never seen before.

To understand ’s latest collection, you first have to understand where it was created.

Designed in Lebanon during a period marked by war, displacement and uncertainty, « Bittersweet » is deeply rooted in the emotional realities of everyday life. The Fall/Winter 2026/27 collection reflects a country living between grief and hope, exhaustion and resilience, asking what it means to continue creating, dreaming and preserving identity when everything around you feels fragile.

Created by Lebanese designer Ahmed Amer, the collection explores bitterness as an honest reflection of lived experience. Fear, loss, anger and emotional weight are all present throughout the work. Yet sweetness remains there too, appearing in quieter ways through memory, connection, beauty and the determination to keep moving forward. As the designer describes it, the collection exists in the space between voice and echo, mourning and hope, erasure and remembrance.

Art has always been one of Lebanon’s most powerful languages.

This June, returns to Paris, bringing together more than 90 artists and over 140 artworks in a charity exhibition exploring memory, identity, belonging and the fragments of home we carry with us wherever we go.

Organised by the Paris-based collective Moments for Lebanon in collaboration with .diaries and , the exhibition features works by renowned photographers Fouad El Khoury and Rania Matar alongside artists including Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil Joreige, Dima Srouji, Zena Assi, Tom Young, Diana Bou Salman, Raya Kassisieh, Sama Beydoun, Laurent Abouhaidar, Yasmina Hilal and many more.

All proceeds from the sale will support Beit El Baraka, the Lebanese Red Cross, arcenciel and Offrejoie, organisations providing essential food assistance, healthcare, shelter, education and emergency relief across Lebanon.

A celebration of art, memory and collective action, proving that creativity can still be one of the most powerful forms of solidarity.

is organizing a two week online print sale to raise funds for grassroots organizations supporting communities across Lebanon impacted by the ongoing attacks and displacement.
Since March, more than a million people across south Lebanon and Beirut have been displaced , with thousands k****d and injured as Isr@eli attacks continue across different parts of the country despite the ceasefire. Entire neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure have been destroyed, forcing families into temporary shelters with limited access to basic necessities, while first responders and rescue teams continue to work under impossible conditions.
The sale features 54 photography and illustration prints generously donated by artists and photographers based in Lebanon, with all profits going directly toward grassroots relief efforts on the ground.
