Abanglupa - Of Nascent Incendiaries MC
„Lower Class Kids Records is highly stoked to announce the return of Filipino Punk combo ABANGLUPA. Having presented their debut release „Of Rats and Swine“ in 2022, the Vivo brothers already showcased that they were capable to cast fierce metallic hardcore that critically addresses the political environment of their ruling government. With the release of their sophomore full-length „Of Nascent Incendiaries,“ Abanglupa bring back their canalized fury while channeling their music through evident sonical progression.
On this full-length release, the raw and unpolished anger of „Of Rats and Swine“ sinks deep into staggering beauty. It feels as if Abanglupa is driven through the lense of Basalt Shrine, the Post-metal incarnation of the Vivo brothers. The infuriating intensity that marked the key point of their debut release seeks beauty from within the wrath, embellishing the sound with additions of nuanced elements of melodic Post-Metal soundscapes deeply entrenched in sludge surroundings. If you are still eagerly waiting for follow-ups of CULT LEADER, TRAP THEM, SUNLIGHTS BANE or the likes, you might be heavily interested in this release.“
