‼️New episode alert!!!

When Eugene arrived in Denmark as a teenager, he spoke very little Danish and was stepping into a completely new education system. What he did have was determination, resilience, and the dream of earning a world class education.

Today he is a PhD candidate, a father, and a mentor to many. He has also worked with one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.

In this episode of Migrant Voices, Eugene talks about:
✅ Adapting to the Danish education system as a migrant
✅ The mentors who guided him along the way
✅ How language skills and opportunities shaped his path from high school to PhD

Whether you are a parent, an international student, a newcomer to Denmark, and educator or someone passionate about education and migration, this conversation is packed with insight and inspiration.

🎙️ New Episode‼️
In Episode 2, we sit down with Déesse — born in Germany to parents from Cameroon and Burundi — as she reflects on growing up between cultures.

We explore the complexities of second-generation identity, language, hair, racism, and the everyday negotiation of belonging in Europe.

This episode offers a thoughtful, personal lens on what it means to live with multiple heritages and still be asked, "But where are you really from?"
