EFT in Schools: The Tapping Project

What happens when children are given a simple tool to manage their emotions… every day?

This project explored the impact of EFT (tapping) in primary schools with Year 5–6 students and the results are incredibly encouraging.

Across 4 schools, 138 students were introduced to tapping, guided by their teachers throughout the school day.

Researchers looked at:

🔹 Anxiety reduction

🔹 Emotional wellbeing

🔹 Focus and concentration

The results:

✨ 72% of students found EFT effective

✨ Focus and concentration increased

✨ Physical discomfort reduced

And importantly:

The benefits didn’t just stop at emotions. Students experienced improvements in how they felt physically and how they engaged in learning.

What this highlights:

When children are supported to regulate their nervous system, it impacts not just how they feel… but how they learn, focus and show up in the classroom.
