We are proud to present Hoje, the new album out today from 🔆

Copenema is the collaborative project masterminded by Brazillian multi-instrumentalist Rodrigo Sha. The essence of the music is Brazilian, yet Sha takes it on a route from the samba and bossa-nova of Rio de Janeiro to the Balearic Beat of Ibiza – by way of the northern city of Copenhagen where the Music For Dreams label and many of the album’s collaborators are based.

The sound of the album is joyful and wholesome. Sha’s saxophone, flute, guitar and unique Carioca voice are brought out in warm harmonies and sunny beats. The album features a host of guest producers and instrumentalists including DJ Disse , and others.

Hoje, meaning “Today”, is Copenema’s third album and features twelve songs: eleven originals written by Sha and a bossa-nova cover version of ‘Love Is In The Air’.
