Five years ago today, Repulsive Vision unleashed their second full-length, “Necrovictology” (released August 21st, 2020 via Emanzipation Productions). A vicious 40-minute assault of punk-fueled old school death metal in the vein of Carcass, Bolt Thrower and Benediction.
Featuring guest appearances by Phil “LandPhil” Hall (Municipal Waste / Iron Reagan) and Max Otero (Mercyless), the album cemented the band’s reputation for uncompromising aggression and unapologetic extremity.

The story of Emanzipation
UNDERGROUND LABEL DEDICATED TO OLD-SCHOOL EXTREME METAL.
EMANZIPATION (EMZ) was founded in 1991 in Naestved, Denmark as a fanzine and released four issues in the period 1992 to 1994, tape traded like hell and made an international network in the extreme metal scene. In 1993 EMANZIPATION PRODUCTIONS was created and the first release on the label was Italian death metal band EUTHANASIA’s “Casssette EP 1994”. In 1995 the Danish death metal INIQUITY signed to EMZ and in 1996 the label did a license deal with Diehard Records (now closed down). In the years 1996 to 2000 EMZ released albums 8 albums with artists like TAETRE, CENTINEX, EXHUMATION and INIQUITY.
2020 sees the return of EMANZIPATION as an underground record label dedicated to old school extreme metal. Current artists on EMZ:
