Search – The Naina Murder Case.

This marks the 4th international remake of The Killing – after the US, Russia & the MENA region. A true testament to Nordic Noir’s global impact and to the enduring legacy of Sveistrup’s groundbreaking story.

🚨 Big news for DR Sales and Nordic drama: FX has greenlit the U.S. adaptation of DR Drama’s acclaimed series Cry Wolf – starring Olivia Colman and Brie Larson, and adapted by Sarah Treem (The Affair, House of Cards)

Originally created by Maja Jul Larsen, Cry Wolf examines the emotional and systemic ripples of a teenager’s allegation of abuse. The series premiered on DR1 in 2020 and has since been sold to over 70 territories – a powerful testament to the story’s resonance.

👏 A huge congratulations to everyone involved in making this deal happen. And a special shout-out to our own Camilla Maria Saabye Bjerregaard for her incredible work in bringing Cry Wolf to the global stage.

This is a milestone moment for DR Sales’ global format strategy – and a huge win for Nordic storytelling.
