Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 PM on Friday 12 December 2025
A high-pressure system is expected to support a relatively dry atmosphere and breezy conditions across Dominica during the next 24 hours. Moisture within the wind flow is expected to result in occasionally cloudy skies, with passing showers mainly during the late night to early morning period.
Seas are expected to be moderate to rough over the next 24 hours, with waves peaking to 5ft along the west coast and increasing to near 10ft along the east. A Small Craft Warning is in effect. All sea-goers, people living along the coast or traversing coastal roadways, particularly the eastern coast, should exercise extreme caution. Sea bathers are advised to stay out of the water.
