We are heartbroken to inform you of the deaths of Detective William Osborn, Detective Victor Lemus, and Detective Joshua Kelley-Eklund of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in California.

Detective William Osborn, Detective Victor Lemus, and Detective Joshua Kelley-Eklund were killed in an explosion at the Biscailuz Center Academy Training at 1060 North Eastern Street in Los Angeles around 7:30 a.m.
Detective Osborn had served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for 33 years, assigned to the Special Enforcement Bureau. He is survived by his wife, who is also a detective with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, four sons, and two daughters.
Detective Lemus had served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for 22 years, assigned to the Special Enforcement Bureau. He is survived by his wife, who is also a detective with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, his three daughters, three sisters, who also served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office, and four brothers.
Detective Kelley-Eklund had served with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for 19 years, assigned to the Special Enforcement Bureau. He is survived by his wife and seven children.
