Djemaâ El Djdid - the new mosque or the fishermen's mosque🐟.
It is located on the Place des Martyrs in front of the entrance to the
The mosque was built in 1660
in the Moorish style
in accordance with the traditions of the Hanafi school,
using marble, ceramics and wood, it is one of the most important buildings of the Ottoman era in Algeria.
The height of the minaret is 24 m. The mosque has the shape of an octagon, you can enter it through four doors, each of which faces one of the cardinal directions.
The first photo was taken by me in 2009, even before the construction of the metro began on this site, and an ancient city was found underground.
The last photo is from the time of French rule in Algeria, if you look closely.

يقع بساحة الشهداء أمام مدخل #قصبة الجزائر العاصمة
تم بناء المسجد عام 1660.
على الطراز المغربي
وفقا ل
تقاليد المذهب الحنفي،
استخدام الرخام والسيراميك والخشب، هو واحد
أحد أهم مباني العصر العثماني في الجزائر.
يبلغ ارتفاع المئذنة 24 مترًا، ويتخذ المسجد شكلًا مثمنًا، ويمكن الدخول إليه من خلال أربعة أبواب، كل باب منها يواجه أحد الاتجاهات الأساسية.
التقطت الصورة الأولى عام 2009، حتى قبل بدء بناء المترو في هذا الموقع والعثور على المدينة القديمة تحت الأرض.
الصورة الأخيرة هي من زمن الاستعمار الفرنسي على الجزائر، إذا نظرت عن كثب.
