16th July, The Day It All Started.

One man stood with his arms wide open.
But behind him stood a generation; bold, awake, and unafraid.

On this day in 2024, the youth of Bangladesh didn’t just protest. They made history.
What began as a cry for justice turned into a movement that shook the nation.
It wasn’t just about quotas anymore. It was about fairness, about dignity, about being heard.

We don’t just remember the day
We carry its spirit.

Heartfelt congratulations to our respected former Principal, Lt. Colonel (Retd.) Kamal Akbar Sir, on being appointed the new CEO of July Shahid Smriti Foundation. His fearless leadership during the 2024 quota reform movement and his bold support for student rights marked a turning point in our history. GMMSC proudly remembers his courage, vision, and the sacrifices made under his leadership.

আমাদের শ্রদ্ধেয় সাবেক অধ্যক্ষ লেফটেন্যান্ট কর্নেল (অব.) কামাল আকবর স্যারকে ‘জুলাই শহীদ স্মৃতি ফাউন্ডেশন’-এর প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা হিসেবে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত হওয়ায় জানাই আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও শুভেচ্ছা। ২০২৪ সালের কোটা সংস্কার আন্দোলনে তাঁর সাহসী নেতৃত্ব এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের অধিকার আদায়ে বলিষ্ঠ ভূমিকা ছিল ইতিহাস গঠনের এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অধ্যায়। GMMSC গর্বের সঙ্গে স্মরণ করে তাঁর নেতৃত্ব, দূরদর্শিতা এবং সেই আন্দোলনে আমাদের শিক্ষার্থীদের আত্মত্যাগ।
