Two robots just got married in Russia and people cannot stop watching đ€ The ceremony took place at Moscow's Pushkin Library, where humanoid robots Robert and Matilda exchanged AI generated vows. Instead of rings they swapped wedding bracelets, carried in by a robotic dog named Dogmatik who served as ring bearer. Matilda even performed a dance during the celebration đ
The wedding was not legally recognized. It was created by Russian robotics company IT Imperial purely to demonstrate how advanced humanoid robots have become. Robert was designed as an office worker and blogger while Matilda was built as a ballerina. Watching machines act out something as human as love feels oddly emotional đ It leaves you wondering just how close robots and humans might grow.
