Traduction et Langues - Translang R***e Traduction et Langues TRANSLANG Journal (Translation and Languages) TRANSLANG favours various methodologies, argumentative, empirical, scientometric, etc.

The journal publishes original research and survey articles, it aims at promoting international scholarly exchanges among researchers, academics, and practitioners to foster intercultural communication by providing insights into local and global languages and cultures. The journal is published twice a year starting from 2010, the first was edited in 2002 one issue a year by University of Oran. The

quality of the manuscripts is not the only criterion for acceptance; the criterion of novelty/originality is also necessary for publication. TRANSLANG aims to offer visibility to researchers in translation and Language studies from the Maghreb, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the West. The journal accepts original papers, reports, and reviews in English, French, German, and Spanish. It is published in both print and online versions. The online version is free access and downloadable. All original and outstanding research papers are highly accepted to be published in our International Journal.

We are delighted to announce the publication of the latest issue of Traduction et Langues (TRANSLANG) Journal, bringing together scholars from across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America to explore the evolving studies on translation, language, intercultural communication, and education.

I. Translation Studies and Intercultural Mediation
This section explores translation as a bridge between languages and cultures through studies on:
Translating endearment terms across cultures.
Qur'anic rhetoric and reciprocal ellipsis in translation.
Ideological and intercultural transmission through film subtitling.
AI-assisted translation of French–Spanish greetings.
ChatGPT's potential in diplomacy-related translation.
Multilingual dubbing and the global circulation of cinema.
II. Language Teaching, Pedagogy, and Educational Practices
Contributions examine contemporary educational challenges and innovations, including:
Comparative perspectives on educational reform in Algeria, Uganda, and the United States.
Native and non-native language teaching practices.
Culturally responsive literacy pedagogy in Indonesia.
Professional development of newly recruited university teachers.
Preparing students for English-Medium Instruction (EMI).
Teaching Business German in international contexts.
III. Language, Discourse, and Cultural Representations
This section investigates language and representation through:
Gender discourse in the literary works of Truman Capote and Margaret Atwood.
The relationship between written text and overlapping screens in cinema.
IV. Language Policy and Institutional Transformations
A timely contribution analyzes Algeria's higher education language policy, tracing its shift from French toward English and examining its broader institutional and ideological implications.
